About Me

Hi!  My name is Mrs. Sahvanna and I am SO excited to get this year started! It’s going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and new adventures and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for us.  To get started, I’ll tell you a little about me….

I was born and raised in Forney, TX! I have one younger brother, Brandon. When I graduated from High School, I went to the Dallas Colleges to get my core classes done and then moved to Denton where I went to school at Texas Woman’s University.  I am majoring in Child Development and Child Life and will be graduating soon!

I taught in a 2 year old class for about 2 years and then moved to a 4 year old class for a year.  I loved them both!  I have taught Pre-Kindergarten in an internship and a 3 year old class for 2 years as well!  I have about 5 years of preschool teaching experience and I have LOVED every minute of it!

I recently got married to my sweet husband, Dustin, who is a Fireman. We have one little dog and her name is Prissy; she is a Chihuahua.  She LOVES to give kisses when you give her treats!

After numerous years of working in several different preschools, I decided to begin a preschool out of our home.  I have observed many schools and the way they work; their learning curriculum, teacher-to-child interactions, and overall environment.  I have created a curriculum that incorporates learning that will not only teach your child the basic preschool knowledge, but also allows them to grow naturally so that they may become young individuals.  This will allow your child to develop at their own pace with their own learning habits rather than forcing mental development upon them.  This curriculum will provide the children several different types of learning and numerous hands on exercises.

My passion is to teach young children and help mold them in these critical years of learning.  I enjoy creating environments in which children do the learning by asking questions and engaging in hands on activities.  I believe it is important to introduce early exposure to different languages and Bible studies.  Above all, I enjoy getting to know each individual child and helping them grow based on their individual needs.

I look forward to meeting you and can’t wait to learn all about you!
